Factor in Brigitte’s defensive shield and bash attacks, and you have one of the best on-field medics in the game. It has impressive range, heals a significant amount of HP, and even has three charges. Brigitte’s flail attack can heal nearby allies for small amounts of HP, which can make a substantial difference when you’re trying to survive a fierce fight, but her dedicated healing ability is even better. Lifeweaver has far too many tools to keep track of, all of which only feel useful in specific situations.īrigitte functions well in the new Overwatch, with a diverse range of abilities that lets her damage, protect, and heal, sometimes simultaneously. His healing weapon can also do a max of 65 HP healing per charge, meaning he isn't competitive with the healing ceiling of some of the other supports. To further exacerbate this issue, Lifeweaver must switch between his healing weapon and damage weapon, similar to Mercy, really limiting his potential to do either damage or healing, which is strange since other supports like Moira and Kiriko don't have to swap. While Lifeweaver's ultimate can be very useful on a contested objective, his biggest flaw is that outside of his ultimate, he has no healing abilities. Life Grip pulls a teammate towards Lifeweaver, potentially saving them, but a long cooldown doesn't make this a game changer. The Petal Platform lets teammates rise above the action but has a limited amount of health and usability. His dash has very limited mobility and only provides a slight boost to personal health. Lifeweaver has numerous abilities, none of which are particularly powerful. Lifeweaver suffers from a problem that could be a bigger issue with Overwatch 2 as a whole moving forward, which is his bloated kit.
